Background
The PSB is built around three mutually reinforcing pillars:
Pillar 1 describes the calculation for minimum regulatory capital requirements. The fsa;s approach has little impact on firms writing non profit business, however they impact with profit insurers far moreand introduce a new method of calculating reserves, called the 'twin peaks' approach.
