EDGAR Online launched its I-Metrix suite of XBRL products
April 20. I-Metrix provides the ability to analyze more than 1,000 normalized
and as-reported data points from companies' financial statements. Coverage
includes U.S. securities, including public, private and non-U.S. companies
who report financials to the SEC. I-Metrix Professional includes an add-in
for Microsoft(R) Excel that eliminates the need for clients to manually
key data into spreadsheets, saving time and avoiding errors that can occur
with manual data entry. I-Metrix Professional is included in I-Metrix Vision.
EDGAR Online also offers I-Metrix Architect, an application program interface
(API) delivered through a SOAP-compliant web service that allows developers
